My house has so many fleas. I have not had fleas for 15 or more years in my house. My cats stay inside, but my dog goes in and out. I am sure she brought them inside. I have dipped them, sprayed the house etc. Its not working. What the best chemical to buy, and where? I prefer to go to a store, rather than order on line.

Try doyourownpestcontrol.com and type in fleas in the search section. Thet have great ideas. I myself have used Demize ec it kills eggs,larva and pupae. Follow directions carefully.

A couple years ago, my wife and I renovated a guest house on our property, and are now earning about $900/mo in rent, which gives us an extra $9,000 per year in pre-tax income. We are in the early stages of planning a move. Our regular house — assigning zero value to the guest house — would probably sell for $625,000. How much extra should we add to the asking price of the house to take into account the rental income from our guest house?

I would say $700k-725k for both. If the guest house is at least 3br/1.5 bath, I may even suggest as high as $175k additional if it is in a very pricey neighborhood.

I want to buy a house. Do you know where to find the listing of the house for sale in Boston, MA? I dont want go with the agent because they offer took my to the house that i dont like, so i want to see the house and area first and call the agent. PLEASE HELP! Thank very much!

try local papers or yahoo! real estate first. i’m not advocating for agents at all, but they can set you up with an rss feed so that when something comes on the market that meets your criteria, you’ll be emailed the MLS listing. so then you can check it out, and then call them if you’re interested. i really think that’s the way to go, especially in a competitive market like boston. you don’t want to miss out on new listings and sometimes the only way to get them is thru a realtor. good luck and happy house hunting!

My grandmother’s house is more than 50 years old and it is a small old wood house that really needs remodeling. The city wont let her rebuild on the property but she can remodel. Due to a car accident she is in a wheel chair and the house is not handicapped accessible at all. Alot of the wood is rotten and there are cracks and holes. Bascially the whole house needs to be fixed. She doesnt have the money for renovations or to pay high loans. I want to find housing grants for her or either an inexpensive contractor that maybe does payment plans or some sort.

My employer will build a house and allow my family to live in it rent free. We will sell our house. We will make quite a bit when we sell our house. Since we won’t be reinvesting in a house, I am wondering how to avoid taxation.

You should re-invest it in rental property. Then it becomes a buisiness and a write-off.
