Since the island of Lanzarote gave their environment high importance, it also became a favorite tourist destination. The most recent big volcanic eruption in Lanzarote happened in the 19th century, which resulted in the island’s “lunar” look. Mass-tourism still hasn’t spoiled the natural beauty of the tiny island of La Palma. La Gomera is the second smallest island of the Canaries but offers endless attractions.
